The Scriptura Specula: Reflections on Seeing, Saying, and Added Fluff
There are many Bible camps and courses that promise to teach you how to read the Bible.
But if the scriptures are mirrors, they have been ground, honed, and polished by each passing well-meaning generation to the point where we can no longer be sure what they reflect — only that something is still being reflected back at us. Whether that reflection is the original image is uncertain at best.
We can guess.
This book is one such guess.
It offers a way of reading — a joyous one at that — and points toward those images that, even now, still reflect clearly the human condition and the nature of being.
